Mission Statement
The Morrisburg and District Historical Society collects, preserves and
promotes the history of the village of Morrisburg and the surrounding
district, holding its collections in trust for the public and their
descendants.
The Morrisburg and District Historical Society is a volunteer
organization and all members and others are welcome to assist us in our
activities to encourage a wider knowledge and appreciation of the history
of this area and beyond.
Aims and Objectives
The objectives of the Society are to record, collect and preserve local
artifacts in order to tell the local history of the village of Morrisburg
and the surrounding district. Our long range goal is to have a permanent
home in which to house our records and historical artifacts.
